The topping off ceremonies of Outotec Yara APR Siilinjärvi concentrator expansion were held on 5.6.2009.

Outotec Minerals Oy realizes Yara’s expansion of the concentrator in co-operation with Quattroproject Ltd. The contract includes buildings, process engineering, supply of Floatex® density separators, TankCell® flotation units, conditioners, two thickeners and the related instrumentation, electrification and piping, as well as commissioning and training services. The delivery is turnkey EPC project (Engineering-Procurement-Construction).

Yara's expansion will increase the annual phosphate concentrate production in Siilinjärvi from 850,000 tonnes to 1,000,000 tonnes.

The project is on schedule, the process equipment and piping works have been started two weeks ahead of schedule.

The topping off ceremonies of Söderkulla S-market and Library building were held on the 23rd of April, 2009. The gross area of the project is c. 9,500 m2, and the volume is c. 46,000 m3. This construction project will bring the inhabitants of Sipoo more service potential, e.g. the municipal library is going to have space for c. 80,000 publications on the first floor of the building. On the ground floor we will build a big (gross area c. 1,990 m2) S-market for Varuboden. Goods entrance and car park will be located in the basement. There will be additional customer car parking on the decking structures of the building and in the courtyard. An ABC refuelling station, belonging to the S-chain, will also be opened.

The project is a significant pilot project for S-group in terms of increased energy efficiency and decreased carbon dioxide emissions. In Söderkulla, refrigerating technique exploits  carbon dioxide. The use of freon is limited to individual devices only, and it forms no more than a fraction of the total refrigerating technique.

Outotec Minerals Oy has signed with Quattroproject Ltd project management agreement for build up the expansion of the phosphate concentrator located in Siilinjärvi, Finland. Quattroproject will manage construction, process piping and installations works.

Outotec’s delivery is part of Yara’s expansion as turnkey delivery to increase the annual phosphate concentrate production in Siilinjärvi from 850 000 tonnes to 1 000 000 tonnes.

The expansion includes also thickeners and water tank and pumping station. The total floor area is 1 815 m2 and its cubic volume is
31 700 m3.

The works have been started and the expanded concentrator is estimated to be operational by mid of October 2009.

Quattroproject Oy has signed a contract for project management with Kauniaisten Urheilupuisto Oy. The total floor area of the sports centre to be built in Ymmersta, Espoo, will be 4,200 m2, and its cubic volume 34,000 m3. There will be courts for tennis, badminton and squash, together with a health club and a café, in the building. The works have been started, and the sports centre will be handed over to the client in July 2009. General Superintendent of the object is Jarmo Sundström, and Project Manager is Harri Vaaja.

Quattroproject LTD has been made an agreement with Joint-stock Property Company.

KOy Söderkulla Tallback Fastighets Ab to build up 10 300 square meter building complex in Sipoo, Finland. In the complex will be S-Market grocery store, municipal library of Sipoo and dental clinic center. Works has been started and the object will be done at September 2009. The Project Manager is Jorma Pirttimaa.

After the facade renovation works and design assignment in Riihitontuntie 1 property Quattroproject has received an order for refurbishment and extension works in this building. After the extension works there will be approx. 12.000 sqm of retail space in the Riihitontuntie 1 property.

Works will be started immediately and handing over is scheduled in the end of 2008. Project Manager is Jouni Jauhiainen.

Construction works started on 5th of June 2006 and the project will be handed over to the client by the end of January 2007. Quattroproject´s contract includes construction and mechanical & electrical works. Project manager is Jorma Pirttimaa.
